It looks like Google are getting ready to launch their Chrome OS, as they have sent out invites to a Chrome event for next Tuesday, December the 7th.
According to Engadget, who posted the information before the events were sent out, Google will be launching their Google branded netbook, with their Chrome OS next week. It looks like they will also be launching their Chrome and web applications store at the same time.
We may not actually see the Chrome OS netbook in stores just yet though, as Engadget are reporting that there will only be around 65,000 of the netbooks available, which Google will be giving out to their closest ‘friends and family’.
