Samsung has been doing well with its Galaxy range of tablets and smartphones, all of which run Google’s Android OS. Earlier today we heard that Samsung had sold over 1 Million Galaxy Tab’s worldwide since it went on sale last month.
Now it seems that Samsung’s Galaxy S smartphone is becoming more popular, as Gartner are reporting that the Galaxy S was top of the Android sales charts in the last quarter with a share of 32.1 percent of the market.
This is hardly surprising as Samsung sells the Galaxy S on all the major mobile networks, and the phone is re-branded for each one, like the Verizon Fascinate, T-Mobile Vibrant and the AT&T Captivate.
Samsung has done well with the Galaxy S, back in the same quarter of 2009, Samsung had around a 9.2 share of Android smartphones.
